Then we’d love to hear from you!  We are looking for a new Senior Sales Manager for our great Japan team.

What you do

  • Sales activities of embedded software products, services, and solutions for the development of electronic control units (ECUs) in the automotive industry. This includes the product families EB tresos (classic AUTOSAR), EB zentur (embedded security) and others.
  • Position Elektrobit to become a strategic partner and advisor to the customer, discovering opportunities and generating sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • Be connected at all levels with assigned account, retain and grow business and relationship.
  • Defining and developing account strategy for penetrating our innovation, and planning and execution of expanding its sales in Japanese market and Japanese companies.
  • Understand customers‘ needs and make a proposal based on our products and services that meet customers objectives for solutions by utilizing your technical knowledge.
  • Have a strong understanding of market segments of your responsible area and associated product lines. Be familiar with engineering services that can be offered by Elektrobit.
  • Ensure the target of budget. Track progress and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Take care of upselling and cross selling at customers.

What you bring

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in software and engineering services for AUTOSAR-compliant ECU software development, Functional Safety, Security etc.
  • Several years of relevant experience in technical sales in the automotive software industry.
  • You have exceptional communication and presentation skills. You can express both technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Solid connections with JOEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Brings business development experience, with a proven ability to plan and drive growth.
  • Strong “hunter” and “closer” mindset to drive new opportunities proactively and close deals.
  • Has a track record of winning new logos and negotiating multi-year commercial agreements.
  • Has experience in leading the sales department, including line management.
  • Cooperative leadership style with trust, mutual respect, open information and communication.
  • University degree required, in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar are preferable.
  • Native level Japanese and strong business-level English skill, both written and spoken.
