About Organization
The Radio Technology and Policy Department is responsible for radio policy, radio technology, and license management in cooperation with related departments within the company. In addition to the above, this department is also responsible for technical strategy, frequency strategy, technical conditions for new systems, and system development, which are important for the wireless communication business.
Job Duties
The incumbent will be responsible for all or part of the following tasks based on their expertise, work experience, and personal interests .
Coordinating and communicating with other companies in the industry and stakeholders related to radio waves
Providing support for license applications and trials
Corresponding with related departments of MIC (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) regarding radio policy and regulations
Supporting the required actions for the early deployment of 700MHz BS and the 700MHz association
Updating the radio operator list and submitting it to each MIC RBT
Preparing the BS periodic inspection plan and submitting the inspection results to each MIC RBT
Arranging meetings and documenting minutes of various meetings with MIC and the four mobile network operators
Providing support for the dead zone area measurement project, especially for the Shiretoko area in Hokkaido
Managing radio usage fees and license application fees, among others
Participating in the annual license application plan and explaining it to each MIC RBT
Minimum Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of wireless communication related fields (at least 3 years of work experience in related fields, or equivalent technical knowledge)
High level of communication skills : Japanese (Fluent)
Teamwork and the ability to think and act independently
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Japanese Radio Law
Knowledge and work experience related to interference coordination studies
and radio wave protection guidelines, etc.
Knowledge of radio wave propagation and antennas
Knowledge of wireless communication systems and frequency usage in
Japan
Knowledge and practical experience in radio equipment certification and
license
Radio technician / land special radio engineer or other radio worker
