Department Profile :
HSBC Asset Management (Japan) Limited is HSBC Group's asset management arm established in Japan in 1985. We provide a wide range of products and solutions investing in various global assets with different investment strategies that meet the investment needs of different individuals and institutional clients.
Role Purpose :
- Responsible for growing Wholesale Business
- Manage relationships with fund distributors, mainly with Head Quarters
- Generate product ideas and execute the launches.
Principal Accountabilities :
Implement and contribute to the overall wholesale distribution strategy as well as key client sales and servicing modelDrive sales, AUM and revenue growth for the wholesale businessImplement effective sales and servicing strategy to ensure high customer satisfaction levelDemonstrate strong investment knowledge and be the trusted advisor for clientsWork closely with Product and Marketing team to develop high quality wholesale marketing and sales materialsDevelop and maintain relationship with key players in the industry to closely monitor market trendsRepresent wholesale business in internal senior management reports and forums, as well as external conferences and key client eventsSummarize requests and needs of clients, co-working with other related departmentsConduct due diligence of our clients regarding to HSBC Group Policy in cooperation with related departmentsInformation
BA or BS requiredFund sales and marketing experience in Japan requiredKnowledge of investment philosophy and process, markets, products, and regulationsHighest standard of ethicsStrong project management skills and well-rounded marketing skillDeadline and detailed-orientedExcellent communication skills – written and oral, presentation skill and experienceHigh inter-personal skill - ability to work with teams, portfolio management, sales and business headsProficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word skillsNative level of Japanese and business level of English is required as language skills
