The Supply Manager manages all aspects of the supply chain process to ensure inventory targets are achieved nationally and that customer service levels are maximised. He / she identifies and completes projects that improve the efficiency in the supply chain. The Supply Manager troubleshoots any supply chain issues on a daily basis and oversees the management of inventory turnover in the organisation.
Reporting to Director Of Operations, this position manages VAJ procurement activities ensuring best value for money on products and services purchased by negotiating with suppliers.
- Managing national inventory levels to ensure sites comply with appropriate stock levels based on sales and to ensure inventory levels comply with VAJ targets
- Managing all stocktake and cycle count activity nationally and to ensure that stock take results fall within acceptable VAJ standards
- Managing of excess and slow moving stock and responsible for advising Sales and Marketing Groups to ensure this inventory is minimised
- Demand forecasting & communication with the suppliers
- Effectively managing all purchasing activity to ensure best pricing and levels of service from suppliers are achieved and maintained
- Responsible for creation & implementation of procedures and work instructions to maximise efficiency across the Supply Department
- Responsible for all distribution activity rom the central warehouse to the branches
- Ensure the inhouse device maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the requirements
- 2-3 people management is required( Supply Administrator, Workshop technician)
- Other activities as directed by the direct manager

Tertiary qualification preferred and upto 5 years experience in Logistics or Supply -Chain Management with sound financial and inventory management knowledge
Fluent in Japanese and EnglishWork experience in healthcare business is a plus.
