Would you like to help reform Amazon inbound logistics? Amazon is taking various measures from both the logistics network and technology sides to dramatically improve the customer's purchasing experience. In particular, in order to increase delivery speed and convenience, the key to success is to formulate and execute an optimal inventory placement strategy, which is how to place inventory close to customers. Currently, reforming procurement logistics has become a company-wide important issue in order to achieve optimal inventory placement. This time, the Inbound Network Planning team is looking for a leader to reform the end-to-end supply chain while building good relationships with Amazon's partner companies, vendors and sellers, in order to reform this procurement logistics. This position is expected to not only reform Amazon's network internally, but also to delve into the operations and delivery networks of vendors and sellers to jointly think up and implement solutions. In addition, we will create business metrics associated with this, monitor operational status and performance, and propose improvements from there. In addition to improving operations, we will also be required to pursue opportunities to reduce costs. This position requires in-depth knowledge of business and operations, the ability to link data and operations and build hypotheses, as well as strong communication skills to communicate these to stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
The scope of responsibility is planning programs to streamline delivery to fulfillment centers nationwide, introducing related systems, and managing projects to introduce programs. We also consider the feasibility of new business requested by the business team from a cost and operational perspective and implement them. Moreover, we are responsible for network changes and product restructuring efforts aimed at improving program efficiency when warehouses and sorting centers are relocated / expanded.
Plan and execute and draft new business while communicating with each stakeholder
Define issues in existing business processes, analyze factors and lead improvements
Promote product introduction aimed at introducing new business while achieving compatibility with existing processes and systems
Collect data from in-house systems / tools, create metrics, and determine actions to measure and improve business performance.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously and progressively with ownership in an environment where a sense of speed is required.
Prepare business documents (English / Japanese) and share and approve issues and ideas with relevant stakeholders
