Job Description

Role : Sales Manager, C&I Solar

Location : Tokyo, Japan

We are partnering with a leading renewable energy company that is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to grow their solar portfolio and build corporate partnerships for sustainable energy.

Responsibilities :

Drive sales growth for rooftop, carport, and ground-mounted solar PPA solutions, meeting or exceeding targets.
Lead commercial negotiations and close PPA contracts with corporate clients and local businesses.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies in collaboration with technical teams.
Prepare tailored proposals demonstrating cost savings and sustainability benefits.
Build and manage strategic relationships with energy managers, consultants, and real estate partners.
Coordinate with engineering, installation, and O&M teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Identify high-potential sectors and represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and sustainability forums to generate leads.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in business or finance.

5+ years of relevant sales experience, including renewable energy background

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset

Business-level Japanese (spoken and written) to support client interactions
