Your mission

  • You are a person who is fired up to be a key driver in a growing company that is on its way to change an industry
  • You resolve client concerns around technical capabilities, information security, and platform architecture during the sales process
  • You support complex Network Scenarios and troubleshoot OpenVPN and IPSec issues
  • You build and conduct product demonstrations, solution workshops and due diligence studies
  • You work closely with the field sales team and support customer engagement activities, such as providing technical support to both directly to end customers, as well as our sales partner SoftBank
  • You contribute to Marketing events such as industry / trade event participation and presentations
  • You take responsibility for the knowledge transfer from Product to Sales, including support in localization of 1NCE product and technical content to Japanese

Your skills

  • Fluency in spoken and written Japanese and Business level in spoken and written English are mandatory for this position. Additional language skills are preferred (especially Chinese, Korean, or any other Asian language)
  • You have a minimum of 5+ years of related Technical Sales / Solution Engineering experience, building and presenting value propositions to customers directly as well as to sales partners
  • Strong understanding of IoT protocols, communication patterns, cellular networks, embedded devices, and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and delivering solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to support any direct / indirect customer engagement from technical perspective when requested by sales and management
  • Due to your technical background, you can craft a technical message with business relevance to a non-technical audience as well as a technical audience.
  • Ability to learn quickly and multi-task; work under pressure with geographically distributed teams
  • You are proficient in presentations, written and verbal communication with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and Japanese at business level
  • AWS VPC & Services knowledge and a telecommunication background strongly preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously and remotely, and willing to travel as required
