As part of the Digital Factory organization, the HMI (Human Machine Interface) business develops industrial touch panels, industrial PCs, and software solutions that enable smarter and more connected manufacturing environments. The global development center for HMI products is located in Osaka, Japan, where engineers collaborate closely with teams across Europe, India, and China to drive innovation. Our HMI portfolio ranges from compact operator panels to advanced systems with integrated PLC, gateway, and edge computing capabilities. We are currently hiring for these 4 positions below: 1. HMI Marketing Operations Intern We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support marketing operations, digital content management, business reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Information Management (PIM) Support the management and maintenance of product information throughout the product lifecycle. 2. Website Localization & Digital Content Operations Support digital content deployment and localization activities across multiple countries and regions. 3. Business Intelligence & Sales Reporting Support the creation and maintenance of business performance reporting. 4. AI & Process Improvement Contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiency through digitalization and AI. 5. Cross-functional Operations Support Support coordination activities across Offer Marketing projects and initiatives. Mechanical Design Engineer Intern This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product mechanical design, engineering validation, and product development within a global environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to the development of industrial automation products used worldwide. Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Design Support • Assist engineers in the mechanical design of HMI products and accessories • Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings • Support BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and maintenance 2. Product Evaluation & Testing • Assist in planning and conducting mechanical validation tests • Analyze test results and summarize findings • Support prototype assembly and verification activities 3. Engineering Improvement Projects • Research new materials and manufacturing technologies • Support sustainability-focused design initiatives • Participate in quality improvement and product enhancement activities 4. Key Responsibilities ・Researching technologies and methods to accomplish given tasks ・Creating design documents and other documentation ・Debugging and testing development and creation deliberables ・Solving problems encountered Duration : 6 months + (at least 15-20 hours a week) Qualification: Required ・Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. ・Currently residing in Japan, have work permit (if you are international student) ・Basic understanding of embedded systems and firmware development. ・Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++. Preferred ・Familiarity with microsoft office application such as PPT, Word,Excel ・Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ・Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. ・Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Electronics Design Engineer Intern This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing electronic systems for advanced HMI applications. You will work closely with our experienced engineers on cutting-edge projects, contributing to the creation of intuitive and robust HMI solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Development ・Participate and contribute to the projects as an assistant Electric engineer. ・Consider the product specification in terms of technical. ・Design a product and verify it. ・Analyze a problem and resolve it. 2. Product Maintenance ・Maintain the existing products (Change the design for QVE, parts EOL and improving the product quality). 3. Innovation theme ・Participate and contribute to the investigation of innovation theme as an assistant Electric engineer. Duration : 6 months + (at least 15-20 hours a week) Qualification Required: ・Currently pursuing or graduate a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. ・Currently residing in Japan, have work permit (if you are international student) ・Basic understanding of electronic circuit design as well as computer science.
