Your new Company :

Our client’s parent company has been established for 10 years and has projects in Solar, BESS, Biomass in several Asian countries.  In Japan, partnered with a major Japanese trading house they have 1GW of BESS projects under construction / development with more planned.

Your new role :

Reporting to the Construction Manager & CEO you will execute strategic procurement exercises and provide excellence throughout the process analysing information, delivering sourcing strategies, identifying requirements and opportunities, negotiating terms and contracting equipment for the construction and installation of Battery Energy Storage Systems. You will be responsible for :

Who you are :

Experience as an equipment procurement / logistics manager from the construction industry for an Engineering firm, Developer, EPC or Trading company. Experience from the Renewable Energy industry is highly regarded but experience from the broader power industry also considered. If you have Chinese supply chain experience, also highly regarded.

If you have worked in commercial management and / or Power and PPA sales and are looking to specialise or diversify into procurement, then this might be an opportunity for you.

You also have language skills, Japanese and English will be the most used, but if you have Chinese as well, that will also be beneficial.
