Be it providing personalized superior user experience to our customers or making informed business decisions, data plays a vital role underlying all AI-driven initiatives. We are looking for a data analyst to work on collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets to discover useful information, suggest conclusions, and support decision-making. This role provides insights to fuel business growth and enhance customer experience.

Position Details

- Track key business KPIs and investigate the underlying drivers behind any changes in performance
- Use data extraction and modeling to help stakeholders understand how proposed product updates might affect the business
- Improve team efficiency by automating routine analytics tasks through dashboards and AI-driven agents
-Facilitatethe setup of A/B tests and provide comprehensive evaluations of the results

While English is our primary language for internal communication, Japanese language skills are highly valued.

Mandatory Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
-Extensive experience (over 3 years) as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role within the Tech (e-commerce is preferred) industry,demonstratingincreasing levels of responsibility
-Expertproficiencyin statistical analysis tools and programming languages, including Python and SQL
-Proven ability to lead data exploration, analysis, and visualization efforts, with a strongtrack recordof extracting actionable insights from large and complexdatasets
-Experience with data cleaning and preparation techniques and familiarity with database management systems. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts is a plus
-Demonstratedability to work both independently and collaboratively within team
-Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly to diverse audiences, contributing to a data-driven environment within the organization

Desired Qualifications:

- Professional fluency in spoken and written Japanese
- Experience working with agentic systems
