Your Role
Our International Facultative team is seeking a highly qualified Operations Assistant (P&C) who will be responsible for a wide array of administrative assistance for the Facultative Operations team based in our Tokyo office.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Facultative business operations, ensuring operational requirements are met and supporting marketing initiatives and client service activities.
- Support finance‑related administrative functions, including coordination and communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors, managing day‑to‑day finance processes, maintaining accurate documentation and records, and reviewing monthly banking transactions.
- Deliver general administrative and facilities management support, including handling calls, correspondence, and enquiries; maintaining office facilities and environment; and coordinating building access, transportation, and accommodation arrangements for visitors and guests.
- Contribute to regional and international projects and initiatives as assigned from time to time.
Your Profile
- At least 3 years of related experience, preferably in Property & Casualty (re)insurance
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through with high level of accuracy while maintaining a sense of urgency
- Good command of Japanese and English, both spoken and written
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple system applications simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Service mindset and with strong work ethic and accountability
- Able to work independently as well as a strong team player
- Results oriented and with good time management skills
