Director of Guest Services

Department: Rooms
Reports to: General Manager

We are currently seeking a Director of Guest Services to join the Shangri-La Kyoto team.
This role is instrumental in upholding Shangri-Las renowned hospitality standards while fostering operational excellence and delivering exceptional guest experiences across the hotel. As a key member of the leadership team you will inspire service excellence and support the seamless operation of Front Office and guest service functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Front Office and guest service operations.
• Champion exceptional guest experiences and service excellence.
• Inspire and develop a high-performing team.
• Foster collaboration across departments.
• Drive guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support operational planning and budget management.
• Enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.
• Uphold Shangri-La standards policies and procedures.
• Promote a culture of safety sustainability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Oral and written proficiency in both English and Japanese.
• Degree or diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of Front Office Manager experience in an international luxury hotel.
• Guest-focused with strong team-building abilities.
• Self-motivated enthusiastic and flexible.
• Goal-oriented with a proactive mindset.
• Committed to achieving results and delivering excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required by operational needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Knowledge of additional foreign languages (Preferred).
• Additional qualifications in Business Management (Preferred).
• Experience in a similar hotel environment (Preferred).
• Strong sense of humor (Preferred).
• Self-confidence and professional maturity (Preferred).

応募資格

• 日本語英語での優れたコミュニケーション能力口頭文書
• 学士号または専門学校短期大学卒業以上
• インターナショナルラグジュアリーホテルでのフロントオフィスマネージャー経験3年以上
• ゲスト志向が高くチームをまとめる力をお持ちの方
• 主体性があり意欲的かつ柔軟に対応できる方
• 目標達成に向けて積極的に行動できる方
• 高い成果意識とサービスマインドをお持ちの方
• ホテル運営に応じて柔軟な勤務が可能な方
• Microsoft OfficeをはじめとするPCスキルをお持ちの方
• その他の外国語スキルをお持ちの方尚可
• 経営マネジメント関連の資格をお持ちの方尚可
• 同等クラスのホテルでの勤務経験をお持ちの方尚可
• ユーモアのセンスをお持ちの方尚可
