SAP S/4HANA Test Manager

Appealing Points:

• Lead Large-Scale SAP S/4HANA Transformation Testing: Own the end-to-end testing strategy, planning, and execution across SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance Testing for enterprise ERP programs.

Annual Salary: 9 Million Yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and maintain the overall SAP S/4HANA testing strategy and test plan.
  • Define test scope, test approach, entry/exit criteria, and quality gates.
  • Estimate testing effort, resource requirements, and testing schedules.
  • Coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams and deployment sites.
• Test Management
  • Lead overall testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Performance Test (PT).
  • Manage offshore, onshore, global, and regional testing teams.
  • Monitor testing progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Conduct regular test status reviews and stakeholder reporting.
• Defect Management
  • Establish defect management processes and governance.
  • Prioritize defects with business and functional teams.
  • Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor defect trends and provide quality metrics.
• Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with Business Process Owners, SAP Functional Leads, Technical Teams, Project Managers, and System Integrators.
  • Coordinate testing activities among regional deployment teams.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on testing readiness and quality status.
• Performance & Non-Functional Testing
  • Define and coordinate performance, volume, and stress testing activities.
  • Ensure business-critical processes meet performance requirements.
  • Validate system readiness prior to cutover and go-live.

Job Qualifications:

• 12+ years of testing experience, including 6+ years in Test Management roles.
• 3+ years of ERP testing experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA programs.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes
• SAP S/4HANA
• Test Management Tool : qTest, ALM, JIRA
• Security testing knowledge
• Automation Tool experience good to have
• Performance Testing Tool : NeoLoad, Loadrunner good to have
• Defect Management and Reporting Tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Testing experience.
• Large-scale ERP transformation program experience.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and integrations.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, retail, or consumer goods industries.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies.
• Test Management Tool : qTest, ALM, JIRA

Langauge Required: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level English proficiency
