Etl Tester

Description

We are seeking an ETL Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of data in our ETL processes, contributing to the overall integrity of our data warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Conduct thorough testing of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues in ETL processes.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and documentation for ETL testing activities.
• Perform regression testing on ETL pipelines after changes or updates are made.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in ETL testing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and manipulation.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
• Knowledge of data quality metrics and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
