We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a large-scale digital transformation project within the aviation this role you will contribute to the modernization of a customer loyalty platform by developing and integrating backend services with a next-generation loyalty system.


Work Place: Tokyo Japan

Work Style: Hybrid/Onsite as per project requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Developing APIs test integrate performance optimization and delivery as per requirements transition and transformation.
  • Responsible to deliver the assigned functionality with agreed quality and with in timelines.
  • Create and maintain Design Documentation.
  • Able to coordinate with customer on clarifications/issues and requirements.


Requirements

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in backend development using Java ver17 Spring Boot Maven SQL AWS and JUnit.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (Native level / Business level N2 above) and everyday conversational English.
  • Excellent documentation and technical skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence).
  • Ability to work across onsite/offshore teams and manage cross-cultural communication.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Airline domain.
