SAP Business Analyst Specialist

Annual salary: 7 Million yen and Above.

Job Responsibilities:

• Requirements Definition and Business Analysis: Gather complex business requirements from multiple stakeholders and break down broad information into detailed functional requirements. Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, impact analysis, and business process transformation.
• IT Liaison and Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary regional point of contact between local key users and global IT teams and external development vendors. Coordinate to ensure that agreed-upon business system functions conform to global standards and are properly implemented and maintained.
• Incident Management and User Support: Investigate and resolve daily incidents and ad-hoc inquiries related to SAP SD and S/4HANA Sales (sales management), and respond quickly to emergencies and compliance-related issues.
• System Administration and Routine Operations: Perform routine system administration tasks in SAP and JSM (Jira Service Management) (basic system maintenance and routine tasks related to workflows, such as user account management, setting access permissions, and changing approvers and shareholders due to organizational changes or employee departures).
• Deliverable Management throughout the Project Lifecycle: You will be responsible for BA deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including leading design sessions, building business scenarios for testing, reviewing test plans, conducting appropriate end-user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementing stabilization plans required for the solution.

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years of practical experience as a Business Analyst (BA) or in a related technical role.
• 3–5 years of experience as a technical BA within the internal IT department of a business enterprise.
• 3+ years of practical experience with the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module (deep knowledge of configuration, user support, and troubleshooting).
• Practical experience in an SAP S/4HANA environment, or equivalent deep knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience on small- to medium-scale projects.
• Experience supporting SAP MM (Materials Management).
• Practical knowledge of CRM systems.
• Experience in IT service support and access control using ticketing systems such as JSM (Jira Service Management).

Language Requirements: Native or fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 level) and business-level English
