Server or Linux Technical Lead

Job Qualifications:

Manager Experience:

• Administrator experience.
• Accurately grasp customer requests.
• Assign tasks and manage progress for team members.
• Appropriately report progress, issues, and improvement proposals to customers.
• Update various internal management documents within TCS.
• Handle BP orders.
• Report project progress.

Technical:

• OS/Linux:
• Experience operating OS and Linux servers.
• Basic Linux knowledge.
• Independently perform configuration changes and improvements according to requests.
• Conduct log investigations and root cause investigations when trouble occurs.
• Experience building infrastructure during the basic design through integration testing phase of Linux server infrastructure EOS projects.
• Linux technology equivalent to LPIC2.
• Middleware / Db2:
• Experience building or operating MW and Db2.
• Basic knowledge of Db2.
• Independently perform configuration changes and improvements according to requests.
• Conduct log investigations and root cause investigations when issues occur.

Profile:

• Communication skills (coordination with vendors and customers via email, phone, etc.).
• Initiative to independently identify and coordinate tasks.
• Sense of responsibility to see things through to the end.
• Able to work independently, not only manage.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of WAS, Ansible, and Zabbix.
• Good communication with BP employees.

Languages Required: Fluent level Japanese and Conversational level English (or higher)
