This is a unique opportunity for software professionals with solid experience and a proven track record in C/C++ application development on the Linux platform.
As an experienced engineer, you will be expected to understand customer requirements and work closely with on-site and offshore team members to develop complex systems with many requirements.
[Objectives of this role]
- Work from client's designated location and communicate with client and offshore team
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and improve the software systems they develop.
- Offshore/nearshore development team promotion
- Work closely with the offshore team to communicate requirements and ensure on-time development and quality implementation of the software.
- Full ownership of development from requirements capture to final delivery
[Business content] Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software systems using the client's software frameworks and tools at client-specified locations
- Worked as an on-site bridge engineer and coordinator for software development
- Create alignment between the team and the client to facilitate the resolution of issues that impede team performance
- Building and nurturing customer relationships in Japan
- Understanding and analyzing requirements
- Resolve offshore inquiries through consultation with customers
- Perform reviews of offshore work products to ensure quality
- Delivering work products of sufficient quality within schedule
- Reporting progress, risks and issues to clients as required
