Job Description Summary

MEP Project Manager will lead the planning coordination and delivery of mechanical electrical and plumbing works for projects in Japan ensuring quality safety compliance and on-time execution. This role works closely with clients consultants contractors and internal teams to manage project risks drive stakeholder alignment and support efficient end-to-end project delivery.

About the Role:

• Lead MEP project delivery across planning coordination execution and closeout for projects in Japan
• Strong management of mechanical electrical and plumbing works ensuring quality compliance and alignment with project requirements
• Effective coordination of consultants contractors vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain project timelines and delivery standards
• Proactive risk issue and change management including escalation mitigation planning and resolution of technical or delivery challenges
• Solid knowledge of Japan building regulations statutory requirements safety standards and permit or approval processes relevant to MEP works
• End-to-end project oversight including review of drawings technical submittals procurement coordination testing commissioning and handover activities
• Strong stakeholder collaboration working closely with clients project teams landlords suppliers and regional partners to ensure smooth delivery
• Disciplined budget reporting and schedule management to support efficient and transparent project execution

About You:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in MEP project management building services construction or infrastructure delivery
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Building Services Construction Management or a related field
• Proven track record of managing MEP scope across complex commercial industrial or mission-critical projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems across design installation testing and commissioning
• Familiarity with Japan codes compliance requirements contractor management and local project delivery practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across internal teams consultants and external vendors
• Business-level Japanese and English language capability preferred for project coordination and reporting
• Proficiency in project management reporting and documentation tools such as Microsoft Office scheduling platforms and construction management systems
• Proven problem-solving coordination and risk management capability in fast-paced project environments
