Data Consultant

• Drive Data Modernization & Migration: Lead data migration, harmonization, governance, and modernization initiatives across BI/DWH, Data Lakes, and enterprise data platforms in both cloud and on-premises environments.

Annual Salary : 9 Million Yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess current-state system architectures across business data environments, including BI/DWH, Data Lakes, and other data platforms (on-premises and cloud), and design data migration and data harmonization strategies.
• Lead assigned workstreams within data migration and data governance implementation projects.
• Lead the development of proposal materials in response to RFIs and RFPs.
• Collaborate with key client stakeholders, including IT and business teams, to gather requirements and facilitate alignment and decision-making.
• Develop executive-level presentations, proposals, and reports to support business and project decisions.
• Act as a bridge between clients and implementation teams (developers and data engineers), translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Drive data consulting engagements under the guidance and supervision of Capgemini project leadership.
• Support both project delivery and business development activities, including new opportunities, follow-on phases, and pre-sales initiatives.

Job Qualification:

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in system architecture design, including business data systems and enterprise application packages in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Approximately 3+ years of experience as a consultant creating client-facing materials such as proposals, reports, and decision-making documents.
• Experience leading the development of proposal documents in response to RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposals).
• Must possess one of the following foundation-level certifications, or have equivalent hands-on experience with data platform technologies:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate
  • SnowPro Associate: Platform
  • Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate (1Z0-071)
• Practical experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Data Migration
  • Data Modernization
  • Data Governance
  • Data Management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience driving projects as a Project Manager (PM) or Project Management Office (PMO).
• Professional experience working in English, including collaboration with overseas product teams and global offices.
• Experience in SAP-related projects, such as:
  • SAP S/4HANA migration projects
  • SAP ECC projects
• Ability to provide a portfolio of past deliverables (with confidential information appropriately redacted), such as proposals, reports, presentations, or other client-facing materials created in previous roles.

Language Proficiency: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1 or Native) and Business-level English
