Linux Operations Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform batch execution using JP1.
• Perform Linux server operations using PuTTY, primarily basic command-line operations.
• Conduct input data verification mainly using Excel, with support available from application developers.
• Perform data querying using A5:SQL, executing SQL queries provided or supported by application developers, and handle data input through CSV import/export.
• Operate the new mutual aid system, including simple data entry using basic manuals.
• Operate the privileged access management system using available manuals.

Job Qualification:

• Must have Support experience.
• Must have Linux experience.
• Junior-level staff are acceptable as basic manuals are already in place.
• Any age is acceptable, but the more senior the candidate, the more skill is expected.
• Must be willing to work shifts.
• JP1 would be a bit difficult, as it is a Hitachi tool and not everyone has experience with it.
• PuTTY is also a tool used to handle Linux commands.
• This is not a highly technical or developer role; it is more focused on support and operations.
• Ex-Asurion candidates should be avoided.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PuTTY.
• Experience with A5:SQL.
• Experience with Excel.
• Experience with CSV import/export.
• Experience with Linux server operations.
