Data Center Operations Engineerとして、データセンター設備、サーバー、ネットワーク、電源設備などのインフラ運用を支援しながら、新規データセンター構築、設備導入・移設・廃止プロジェクトにも参画いただきます。障害対応やベンダー調整、資産管理、運用改善に加え、監視環境の整備や運用プロセスの最適化など、幅広い役割を担います。

We are currently seeking a dynamic Data Center Operations Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.

You would act as the Data Center Operations Engineer.

As a Data Center Operations Engineer, you will:

• Manage day-to-day operational activities across Fortinet APAC data center locations.
• Support new data center builds, infrastructure deployments, upgrades, relocations, and decommissioning activities throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Collaborate with local and global technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, data center providers, and vendors for equipment installation, maintenance, and other on-site activities.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and appropriately escalate operational and technical issues as required.
• Document operational tasks, configuration details, troubleshooting procedures, maintenance activities, and operational processes.
• Assist with asset procurement, deployment, inventory management, and audits as required.
• Focus on continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and process enhancements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and ensure service availability.

We Are Looking For:

An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:

• 1-2 years of experience in data center operations or supporting mission-critical infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, networking, power systems, and cabling standards and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of network administration and industry-standard networking concepts.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately when needed.
• Experience with infrastructure and systems monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with at least one scripting language such as Bash or Python.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and perform hands-on infrastructure work when required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Japanese.
• Familiarity with PMP, ITIL, or related operational and project management methodologies is preferred.
• Experience working within an ISO 27001-certified or ISO 27001-aligned environment is preferred.
