Global Test Lead S4/HANA Rollout

Job Responsibilities:

• Test Management & Leadership:
• Define, implement, and manage the overall test strategy covering unit, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
• Coordinate global and regional teams to align test plans and execution schedules across geographies and business units.
• Lead test planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Act as the primary liaison between functional, technical, and business teams for test requirements, dependencies, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with business users, key stakeholders, and the PMO to align testing objectives with business needs.
• Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans effectively in Japanese and English.
• Test Execution & Quality Assurance:
• Oversee test cases, scripts, and scenario execution to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
• Manage defect triaging, reporting, and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with SAP and organizational testing and quality assurance best practices.
• Team Management:
• Lead a global team of testers and ensure coordination and consistency across onshore, nearshore, and offshore resources.
• Provide mentorship and guidance on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Tools & Automation:
• Use tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Tricentis Tosca, or equivalent tools for test management and automation.
• Drive test automation initiatives to reduce repetitive manual testing efforts and improve efficiency.
• Risk Management:
• Identify and proactively mitigate risks related to testing, data, and environment readiness.
• Develop contingency plans for potential testing bottlenecks or delays.

Job Qualifications:

• 15+ years of ERP implementation test management experience.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Test Manager for SAP S4/HANA rollouts involving multi-plant and multi-regional implementation testing.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and end-to-end processes in large-scale ERP deployments.
• Proven ability to work across multinational teams and geographies.
• Experience managing culturally diverse teams.
• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca or similar test management tools.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and methodologies.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for test suite management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S4/HANA or related module certification.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
• Experience working within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or manufacturing.

Japanese Languages: Native level Japanese required and Busniess level English
