Job Description

Collaborate with Sales account managers to identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate mobility devices, scanners and software solutions.

  • • Deliver product demonstrations, POCs and pilot configurations tailored to customer use cases.
  • • Provide consultancy to customers on architecting end-to-end enterprise mobility solutions, including device selection, OS configuration, device management workflows (MDM/EMM), SDK/API usage and integration with backend systems.
  • • Understand and demonstrate device capabilities such as Android Enterprise features, barcode symbology optimization, ruggedization specs and wireless performance.
  • • Act as the primary technical contact for customers, system integrators and channel partners. • Support product evaluations and customer testing, troubleshooting issues when needed.
  • • Train partners and end customers on devices, OS features, scanning SDKs/APIs and mobility management tools.
  • • Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops and industry events.
  • • Work closely with product management to relay customer feedback and drive improvements in hardware, firmware and software tools.
  • • Support marketing team with technical contents, product specifications and competitive analysis.


Qualifications

  • • 5-10+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect or Technical consultant in mobility, scanning (data capture), POS systems or related industries.
  • • Strong knowledge on enterprise mobility (Android/Windows), barcode scanning technologies, wireless communications (WiFi/Bluetooth) and rugged device ecosystems.
  • • Experience with MDM/EMM platforms (e.g., SOTI, Vmware Workspace ONE, Intune). • Ability to read, understand and explain techincal specifications, APIs and SDKs.
  • • Surface level understanding of receipt and label printer technology
  • • Excellent communication (Japanese/English), presentation and customer-facing skills. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • • Experience working in a foreign company involving frequent interactions with colleagues outside Japan. Preferred
  • • Experience with Android Enterprise, AOSP configuration, OEMConfig and device provisioning.
  • • Familiarity with common enterprise workflows (warehouse, logistics, 3PL, retail POS)
  • • Basic understanding pf mobile app development (Java/Kotlin, C#, MAUI, React Native)
