Purpose of the Role

Serve as the regional focal point for customer cybersecurity, safety, and AI-related topics in Japan. Manage customer-facing compliance activities, drive strategic relationships, and ensure customer obligations are translated into effective internal processes and supply chain requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface and subject matter expert for customers and internal stakeholders on cybersecurity, safety, and AI topics.
• Lead and coordinate customer audits, assessments, surveys, and capability evaluations, including follow-up of findings and corrective actions.
• Negotiate and manage JOEM requirements and contractual obligations, ensuring consistent interpretation and implementation across customers.
• Build and maintain trusted customer relationships to advance strategic topics such as post-production support, and future compliance expectations.
• Derive internal and supply chain requirements from customer obligations, audit findings, and industry expectations, and drive implementation with relevant stakeholders.
• Represent the company in regional industry working groups and forums, monitor developments, and share relevant insights internally.
• Support the analysis of Security events incl. the communication towards customers
• Organize and facilitate regional security communities, summits, and stakeholder meetings.

日本における顧客向けサイバーセキュリティ、安全、およびAI関連トピックの地域窓口として機能する。顧客対応のコンプライアンス活動を管理し、戦略的な顧客関係を推進するとともに、顧客要求事項を有効な社内プロセスおよびサプライチェーン要求事項へ確実に反映する。

主な責任

• サイバーセキュリティ、安全、およびAIに関する顧客および社内ステークホルダー向けの主要窓口ならびに専門家として対応する。
• 顧客監査、アセスメント、サーベイ、能力評価を主導・調整し、指摘事項および是正措置のフォローアップを含めて対応する。
• JOEM要求事項および契約上の義務を交渉・管理し、顧客間で一貫した解釈と実装を確保する。
• 量産後サポートや将来のコンプライアンス期待事項などの戦略的トピックを推進するため、信頼に基づく顧客関係を構築・維持する。
• 顧客義務、監査結果、業界期待事項から社内およびサプライチェーン要求事項を導出し、関係ステークホルダーとともに実装を推進する。
• 地域の業界ワーキンググループやフォーラムで会社を代表し、動向を把握して関連する知見を社内に共有する。
• セキュリティイベントの分析を支援し、顧客へのコミュニケーションを含めて対応する。
• 地域のセキュリティコミュニティ、サミット、ステークホルダー会議を企画・運営する。

資格

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in automotive cybersecurity, product compliance, quality management, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong understanding of product cybersecurity, safety, AI governance, and lifecycle compliance requirements.
• Experience leading customer audits, assessments, and compliance activities.
• Ability to interpret customer obligations and translate them into actionable business and engineering requirements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional and international environments.
• Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
• Self-driven, structured, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.

必要な資格・経験

• 工学、コンピューターサイエンス、サイバーセキュリティ、情報技術、または関連分野の学位
• 自動車サイバーセキュリティ、製品コンプライアンス、品質管理、または顧客対応を伴う技術職での数年以上の経験
• 製品サイバーセキュリティ、安全、AIガバナンス、およびライフサイクルコンプライアンス要求事項に関する十分な理解
• 顧客監査、アセスメント、コンプライアンス活動を主導した経験
• 顧客義務を解釈し、実行可能なビジネスおよびエンジニアリング要求事項へ変換する能力
• 優れたコミュニケーション、交渉、およびステークホルダー管理スキル
• 部門横断的かつ国際的な環境での業務経験
• 日本語および英語での高い文章力・会話力
• 自律的かつ体系的に業務を進め、複数のステークホルダーおよび優先事項を同時に管理できること
