BTP Engineer (SAP)

Job Description

Position Details

We are seeking highly skilled Application Engineers with expertise in Java development, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to build and integrate application platforms for internal business use. You will understand business requirements and translate them into new, effective, and operational IT plans. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining internal business applications, with a focus on leveraging cloud-native technologies and integration platforms.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and deploy applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), utilizing its various services and capabilities.
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application performance, scalability, and security.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development, cloud computing, and integration platforms.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for application development and integration.

Experience in development using SAP BTP frameworks (CAP, Kyma).

Experience in development utilizing SAP BTP services (BAS, HANA Cloud, SAP Build, SAP Integration Suite).

Knowledge and experience in security-related aspects within SAP BTP (authentication, authorization, integration with IdPs, API management).

Experience in implementing SAP Business AI (Joule, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad).

Experience in building and operating SAP BTP infrastructure.
