Job Description

Role : Sales Manager, C&I Solar

Location : Tokyo, Japan

We are partnering with a leading renewable energy company that is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to grow their solar portfolio and build corporate partnerships for sustainable energy.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive sales growth for rooftop, carport, and ground-mounted solar PPA solutions, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close PPA contracts with corporate clients and local businesses.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Prepare tailored proposals demonstrating cost savings and sustainability benefits.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with energy managers, consultants, and real estate partners.
  • Coordinate with engineering, installation, and O&M teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Identify high-potential sectors and represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and sustainability forums to generate leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in business or finance.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience, including renewable energy background
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Business-level Japanese (spoken and written) to support client interactions
