Key Responsibilities :
Data Strategy & Execution : Contribute to the creation and implementation of Zurich Life's data strategy, working closely with key stakeholders in the APAC region to ensure alignment and deliver results.
Data Analysis & Insights : Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that will drive business decisions, optimize operations, and improve customer experience.
Programming & Analytics : Utilize your strong programming skills (Python, R, etc.) to develop analytical models, data pipelines, and automated processes to extract, manipulate, and visualize data.
Data Visualization : Use tools like Tableau , Power BI , or similar to create visually engaging and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.
Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the APAC Data Team and business leaders, to align data-driven insights with business goals. Effective communication in both Japanese and business English is essential to collaborate effectively with the global team.
Team Building : As a key member of the founding team, help build the data function from scratch, establish best practices, and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Top 3 Skills :
Programming Skills : Proficiency in Python and / or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and building models. Ability to handle large datasets and work with machine learning algorithms.
Data Visualization Tools : Experience with Tableau , Power BI , or similar tools to create meaningful and user-friendly visualizations and dashboards that communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
Strong Communication Skills : Must be fluent in Japanese (mandatory) and have business-level English proficiency. You will be communicating with teams across APAC and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, so strong communication skills are key.
