Responsibilities : IT Support :
- Work closely with business users / stakeholders and overseas IT team to provide IT support.
- Receive, review, triage, and assign all support tickets from our employees.
- Act as a single point of contact between the users and infrastructure / application team.
- In charge of installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners and help train employees on its use.
- Manage full cycle of end user account management including creation, administration, deletion and periodic review
User Engagement & Continuous improvement :
Always look out for ways IT can improve how the business / organization functions.Keep employees informed of their inquiry, ensuring they are kept in the loop of statusCoordinate change management process and meet services desk SLA's for end-user supportCoordinate with other regional colleagues to bring new ideas / improvements in efficiency and find ways to standardize services and provide better user experience.Act as technology evangelist and ensure the user adoption of new & modern technologies / Initiatives.Systems Support :
Handle new laptop deployments, refresh existing devicesSetup of new and existing desks; including hardware and wiring installationAssist with all company AV preparation and presentations for meetings and eventsProvide basic administration for Azure, Office 365, Windows Server operating systems roles / features including, but not limited to Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS.DHCP etc rectification process, and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems using a range of diagnostic utility toolsWork closely with product vendor to ensure customer infrastructure is in good conditionOperation Technology / Power Plant / Site :
Ensure that there is sufficient mechanism to maintain the connectivity uptime of the plant.Secondary internet connections such as Starlink, 4G Sim etc.]During setup of a new site, ensure that the cyber security contract is in place and support the local team in terms of infrastructure and security implementations.Work with Site managers to ensure that IT policies & enforced at the site.Travel and provide support for self O&M sites when required.Working with EPCs, Other Contractors and Scada providers ensure that the connectivity between Scada and Vena’s data collection and processing mechanisms are running all the time.Ensure that the asset list and infrastructure documents are maintained on a timely manner.Provide IT support to the users at the site as an when required.Network :
Perform basic Network management tasks such as creating firewall rules, extracting network related logs etcIT Security :
To ensure that IT security best practices are followed on end user devices. E.g.patching, access control, virus scanning, encryption etc.Conduct security checks / reviews as required by management.Keep security as primary pillar in all engagements & activities.Other :
Document all IT helpdesk processes and procedures.Maintain good record of Licenses, IT assets and IT peripheralsHandle procurement of End user equipment & licenses.Attend periodic global IT meeting & update the management on ongoing activities.Generate periodic license utilization reportsConduct periodic access control reviews.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Develop junior staff members by providing training and hands on workshops.Senior IT Helpdesk Associate Tokyo Job Qualifications :
Diploma / Degree in IT or Computer ScienceAt least 5 years of hands-on IT support, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity experience [Windows]Technical / Professional Skills
End User Computing,Server, Office LAN, WIFI, VPN,Voice and Video Communication, ITIL fundamental knowledge and automation, Security, Strong analytical, troubleshooting skillsStrong focus on end user IT support and user satisfaction, Knowledge of IT Security best practices, Monitoring, Virtualization and Cloud Computing, Prior experience with procurement will be added advantage, Understanding of OT technology, 3rd party application patching, MCSA / ITIL Security certificationsNon-Technical / Soft Skills
