Senior Software Developer (Tokyo)

Job descriptionJava or Gosu Git, Jenkins, and similar IntelliJ SOAP, REST Apex Oracle, MSSQL, H2 At least 4 years of commercial experience as a software developer, preferably in Java. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices. Experience om creating and enforcing coding standards. Experience in working with more junior colleagues and guiding them (Team Leader experience will be a big advantage). Solid understanding of software engineering concepts. Good command of English and Japanese Willingness to learn new technologies and working with them. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Any of the following : Web services (REST / SOAP), Microservices, JMS knowledge, Spring, or any similar hands-on experience. Can do” attitude. Ability to work in Tokyo. Hands-on insurance domain experience Knowledge of systems integration Experience in consulting. Eagerness to learn about new technologies and solutions. Willingness to travel regularly. - Implement and customize core insurance systems such as Guidewire, Salesforce, TIA or INSIS.

- Design IT solutions and prepare documentation.
- Create unit tests.
- Work directly with our clients as an active member of an agile project team.
