Department Overview
Our M&A related work is in charge of planning and execution of non-organic activities of Rakuten Group such as (i) M&A’s, strategic alliances, joint ventures and divestitures, and (ii) Post-merger Integration (PMI), and we are seeking a project manager to join our PMI team.

Position Details
The PMI manager will be required to work collaboratively with Business, Accounting, Finance, Legal, HR, IT and other relevant people to successfully integrate newly acquired companies into Rakuten group. The PMI manager will be responsible for the entire process of integration including (i) define the scope and priority of the integration, (ii) establish integration management team, (iii) create a detailed integration work plan, (iv) execute the integration plan, (v) monitor the progress of the integration and jump in to solve problems, and (vi) create status report regularly.
