BASIC PURPOSE :
Establish and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients to drive new business opportunities and strategies within principally the Japanese market and more broadly APAC. Remit will focus on all functions and services supported by Institutional Services, Global Delivery and State Street Markets.
With our cross border business being a key contributor to revenue growth, it remains critical to our continued growth strategy, we must strengthen our position for success with market leading capabilities for products domiciled in the principle cross-border jurisdictions Cayman / Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. To help achieve that we have determined that having a Global Head of Offshore Product Development role is key to that success. This role will :
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Champion State Street’s global offshore proposition both internally and externally. The incumbent will be the recognized “go to” person for all product development items offshore.
- Provide specialist support for regional Sales and Relationship Management personnel in client and prospect discussions.
- Actively engage with consultants, advisors, influencers – both directly and through internal consultant relations channels to ensure the strengths of our offering are fully appreciated and we remain at the front-of-mind for all parties exploring offshore solutions.
- Global responsibility for management and development of our offshore and cross border proposition, working closely with global, regional and country leads to ensure we remain focused on meeting the needs of clients and prospects.
- Liaise with global marketing teams, to promote the State Street position, ensuring visibility through conference participation, issuance of thought leadership papers, profile pieces, etc.
- Lead the Sales & Coverage organization to drive annualized financial goals and grow market share
- Track and improve service concerns / indicators to further accelerate revenue
- Strengthen Sales and Relationship Management awareness of capabilities and key differentiators in driving a review of our share of wallet analysis and with an eye on protecting & growing each client relationship
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Sales on Account Plans for all client in coverage cohorts –GCD / non- GCD to ensure quarterly strategic evaluation, executive engagement, share of wallet analysis & maximizing the execution of Cayman Offshore revenue growth opportunities
- Direct accountability for owning revenue targets
- Ensure that appropriate management information is produced and distributed to ensure our model remain industry leading
- Maintain standards of conduct and integrity within the business and ensure compliance with industry practice, company policies, statute and regulatory requirements in all matters
- Continue to drive productivity and achieve scalability through organizational redesign of the model when required
REQUIREMENTS :
Education and Experience
15+ years experience in financial services areas inclusive of sales, account and relationship management. Strategy, business and senior operational roles also a consideration.Undergraduate degreeSkills / Knowledge
