General Summary

Indiana Tech is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Adjunct Instructor to join our online programs in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage and inspire students in a virtual learning environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Course goals and objectives are set by the dean. Additionally :

• Teach online courses in the Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology program, including but not limited to Introduction to Mechanical Engineering Technology, Basic Machining, and Advanced Machining.
• Deliver effective courses that meet the program learning outcomes
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students through the online learning management system (LMS).
• Conduct a one hour live session each week of the course
• Stay current with developments in the field of mechanical engineering and / or mechanical engineering technology and incorporate new knowledge into teaching.
