Job Description
Project Management, to include :
- Proving advice at a strategic level from the project conception stage, and on different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives
- Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- Planning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
- Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
- Project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan
- Advising upon the procurement of resources
- Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
- Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s to improve project performance
- Managing the change control process
- Monitoring and advising upon project finances
- Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
- Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports
- Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
Marketing and business development, to include :
Taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new our clientsIdentifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunitiesWorking with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new workAttending marketing events and Client interviewsEnsuring that project case study, photograph and project CV files are kept up to dateIdentifying and acting upon opportunities to improve project management procedures, templates and products and hence improve the service provided to clientsIdentifying and acting upon cross-divisional opportunitiesKPIの利用を含む、パフォーマンス管理手法のモニタリングと適用Qualifications
5 years project management experience, preferrably in a leading role.
Bilingual – Good command / good working knowledge in spoken and written Japanese and EnglishA thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from dealing with strategic issues at conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project reviewExcellent knowledge and experience within the hospitality, leisure, and education sector is highly preferredExcellent knowledge in permit and application processes for new developments and change in building usageExcellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniquesExperience of leading project management commissions for medium to large sized construction projects of medium to high complexityExcellent knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineeringPeople management experience, particularly in the context of managing a team delivering a project is preferredExperience of managing the financial aspects of a projectMembership of a recognised professional body is preferredManagement experience, in the context of managing a team delivering a commission (an addition of general line management experience is preferred)Business development experience is preferred, including developing business with existing and new clients and cross-selling5年以上のプロジェクトマネジメント経験(できればリーダーとしての経験)
