As our business is growing, we want to expand our team in the Tokyo and wish to employ a professional that will be involved in the procurement of Waste Paper. Full Back Office support will be offered by the regional headquarters.

Responsibilities

Buying material from suppliers

Research and identify new market opportunities in the local market

Contacting potential suppliers via email or phone to establish communication and set up meetings

Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients

Negotiating with suppliers to secure the most attractive prices

Managing supplier relationships

Following up on the import / export operations

Analyse data to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximize growth

The ideal candidate

Experience in the Logistics or Sales, ideally in Waste materials

Excellent knowledge of English

Ability to develop relationships with current and potential business partners

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to multitask and prioritise projects

Availability to travel within Japan for meetings with current and potential suppliers
