General Description :
This HEOR Manager position will lead and manage health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) projects to ensure quality and time deliverables to support BeiGene’s portfolios. This also includes generating and disseminating scientific evidence to support reimbursement submissions in the Asia-Pacific region and inform payers / patients / providers / policy-makers on the value propositions of our products. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams by providing HEOR inputs and leadership to support broad patient access for BeiGene products in the region.
Essential Functions of the Job :
Develop evidence generation plan and formulate recommended strategies with current understanding of key markets requirements and stakeholders in support of asset value proposition.
Design and conduct HEOR studies to ensure timely understanding of economic, humanistic and clinical burden of disease, real-world unmet needs and outcomes to support product launch and commercialisation.
Serve as a project lead on research projects. Author and review protocols, reports and other study documents with independent, critical thinking to ensure quality and completeness of output, oversee timeline for deliverables associated with analysis, reporting, and publication.
Localise HEOR tools, value messages and programs associated with company portfolios, including localisation of cost-effectiveness and budget impact models and dossiers.
Keep abreast of the trends of therapeutic area and HEOR across key countries in the APAC region, and proactively address HEOR strategy changes in collaboration with local teams in anticipation of these trends.
Collaborate and communicate with internal cross-functional partners (commercial, clinical) and external KOLs.
Use best efforts to complete work with available budget.
Represent BeiGene externally through conference presentations / communications.
Qualification Required :
Education Required : PhD, MS, or MPH
Other Qualifications :
Must-have
5+ years of experience in HEOR research methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to design, plan, and execute HEOR studies, including health economic modeling, real-world data analysis, systematic literature reviews (SLR), and / or outcomes research
Fluency in English and Japanese is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
Highly organised and self-motivated with ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple projects, determine and meet project objectives, timelines, and budget.
Ensure function maintains full compliance with internal and external guidance and regulations, including applicable policies and codes.
Nice-to-have
Demonstrated knowledge of APAC healthcare systems and understanding of HTA and reimbursement system in key APAC countries. Experiences in HTA and reimbursement submissions in the region is a significant advantage.
Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix team environment and effectively communicate relevant HEOR strategies, evidence, and studies outputs.
Proven ability to drive results at a high level of quality as a strategic and creative thinker / leader.
