Key expert : Team Leader for EU-Japan Policy Support Facility

JOB DESCRIPTIONProject : The Overall Objective of the EU-Japan Policy Dialogue Support Facility (EJPDSF – the “Facility”) is to contribute to the advancement of EU-Japan relations in key priority areas in line with the strategic framework represented by relevant bilateral agreements and partnerships.The Key expert 1 will be the primary contact for the Contracting Authority. She / he will act as Team Leader (TL) and is expected to provide, in a coordinated manner, leadership to the Project Team (PT), taking responsibility for the coordinated and efficient implementation of the various tasks and components of the project as well as coordinating and managing the work of other experts. Furthermore, she / he shall ensure coordination with the Contracting Authority and other stakeholders of the project. The key senior expert will work closely with target groups, under the authority of the EUD Japan and the Steering Group.QUALIFICATION

Minimum requirements

1. Qualifications and skills

• 1.1. University degree in International Relations, Political Sciences, European Studies, Asian Studies or any other discipline relevant to this project;
• 1.2. Proficiency in English (oral and written)

Additional requirements : proven excellence in : a) analytical skills and strategic policy analysis, and b) reporting and communication skills, specifically in public speaking and presentation.
