Position Description

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND-NAVSUP ofNAVSUP FLC YOKO REG .

ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.

Position Duties / Responsibilities

You will represent NAVSUP FLCY in deliberate and crisis action planning venues to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that accommodate the Combatant Commander (COCOM)'s Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD).

You will conduct and execute in-depth analysis to develop FLCY logistics plans to support current Commanders.

You will coordinate with supported Fleet and Marine Commands to determine requirements and consolidate and submit supportability plans and analysis of logistics plans.

You will develop long-range plans identifying critical support areas, resources and their availability, time requirements, and priorities.

You will plan and direct studies and updates of current strategic and operational logistics plans in order to address support planning issues where precedents are non-existent or inadequate.
