Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage projects focused on creating and implementing sustainable operations strategies, with a particular emphasis on EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) management systems, water management, and waste management.Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and sustainability goals, providing expert guidance and solutions tailored to their needs.Drive commercial objectives and work closely with partners for sales development, client outreach, driving revenue growth and achieving business targets.Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems for clients across various industries.Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in EHS practices and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.Provide strategic guidance to clients in the integration of EHS management into their overall business operations.Support in nurturing relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.Support maintaining robust sales pipeline, actively pursuing new business opportunities.Support and lead new Go-To-Market plans for Sustainable Operations team covering decarbonization, circular economy, monitoring, reporting and verification serviceSupport business development efforts, contributing to proposals, presentations, and client engagement to secure new projects and expand existing partnerships.Support in implementation of data-driven solutions, leveraging advanced digital tools and technologies to optimize and improve environmental and operational performance.Key Requirements :
Master’s degree in environmental science or engineering, or related discipline.15+ years’ progressive experience in an environmental consulting environment, working at a high-level with corporate, financial, and legal clients; preferably with the chemical, pharma, power, oil and gas and / or manufacturing sectors.Robust experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management, including thorough compliance audits and effective waste management strategies. Demonstrated success in asset or facility-level EHS initiatives is essential.Track record of delivering successful sustainability and EHS projects across diverse global markets, working with multinational clients to navigate complex regulatory environments and implement sustainable strategies.Exhibit a strong grasp of sustainability frameworks, greenhouse gas inventories, and the principles of a circular economy, showcasing your commitment to environmental stewardship.Strong supply chain assessment experienceDeep domain expertise with technology, data centers, ports, EVs / charging infrastructure, roads / highways ( any one of these ) would be a plusProven ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and adeptly manage intricate projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring successful outcomes.Experience as an Internal or Lead Auditor for ISO Management Systems, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14064, with additional external certification as an asset.Demonstrated expertise in program management, showcasing your ability to engage with global clients, navigate complex project scopes, and effectively collaborate with subcontractors and digital partners.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage clients at senior levels.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage clients at senior levels.A passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental change.Comfortable working with a global team across time zones.
