Business Development Manager - Japan
To further accelerate our rapid growth in Japan, Prodrive Technologies is looking for an additional Business Manager for its key markets in the Japanese market : Semiconductor and Healthcare.

About the role
You will be responsible for the sales and business development activities of the following products in these markets :
- Advanced cameras (off-the-shelf TDI & area scan cameras + custom e-beam cameras)
- Linear motors, servo drives & motion controllers
- Servers & integrated compute cabinets
- Integrated systems (stage solutions, tailor-made modules & turnkey solutions)
Key responsibilities
Identify opportunities, approach new customers, create proposals and negotiate deals, by working together within a multi-disciplinary and international teamUnderstanding the local market and customer needs, to build and maintain relationships with customers or leads to customersEstablishing and taking full ownership of the long-term plan for further growth in this region, for the applicable markets.Have a strong understanding of our highly innovative products, both on market as technical level, in order to convince the customer on technical level of our solution.Profile
BSc, BEng or MSc. Background in engineering / natural science preferred Fluent in Japanese, and conversational English Proven capabilities of understanding (semiconductor & healthcare) market needs, as well as building and maintaining customer-base. Capability to quickly adapt and learn about high-end value propositions, both for off-the-shelf sales as well as more complex custom developments. Communicative, proactive and enterprising 5+ years of relevant (sales) experience
